 Seven years ago, Javier Garrido was full of energy, responsible, and happy. He had three jobs and worked out at the gym for hours every day. He fell in love, got married, and when his wife, Johanna, was eight months pregnant, a tragedy happened in their lives…
Javier had an accident at work and broke his back in three different places and his left hand was lacerated. He had to learn how to walk again and it took him a year and a half to be on his feet. In the meantime, he grew depressed due to his disability and started to eat compulsively. He no longer had the passion to live and the gleam in his eyes was gone.
Johanna couldn’t watch her husband going into self-destruction mode and she encouraged him to drink Bios Life Slim to give him the boost he needed to change his life. Javier was able to overcome his sense of helplessness and he lost 40 pounds in 12 weeks! He no longer complains about back pains and
he even took Johanna to go dancing all night long on her birthday recently.

As he looks back, Javier remembers he was embarrassed about his weight. “Every time we had to take pictures, I would always volunteer to be the photographer because I hated having my picture taken and I wasn’t happy with the way I looked. I had trouble finding clothes that fit me. No matter what I would wear I would always look fat. When I saw the Ryan Barnett story, I was motivated to change my life since he’s just a regular person like me.”

When Jenni McElligott heard the knock on her door, she didn’t know who was on the other side. Flying out to Salem, Oregon, the Get Slim Challenge crew caught her by surprise with a check for $10,000! Jenni was shocked and then couldn’t stop crying…she wasn’t dreaming at that moment but it was indeed a dream come true.
“I won $10,000! I’m so excited and so overwhelmed with joy and happiness! When I opened up the door and saw Clive (D. Clive Winn, Unicity’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing) standing there with the check, everything went quiet. Then I realized what was happening and I put my hands on my face and started to cry and I kept thinking to myself I don’t have any lipstick on.”
She added, “I’m kind of in a fog and maybe this is what clouds feel like. I’ve been working so hard, this is so encouraging! This makes my year! I’m a stay at home mom and winning this contest is a great financial boost for my family!”
Feeling young and fabulous, Jenni shed 32 pounds after her 180-day journey with the Get Slim Challenge. She went from a size 14 to a size 6! Now she’s showing off her new curves and motivating all the moms out there that with the help of Slim it’s possible to be in shape even after having four kids!
“I want to share how I’m feeling now…the new me! Just in the last couple of weeks,  I had a clothing line representative come to my house and never in a million years thought that I would be having a party where I tried on clothes. Things fit me now and I look fabulous! I can also wear clothes from seven years ago before my twins were born!”
She added, “I’m such a busy mom that I used to over indulge myself with cookies, chips, my kid’s leftover food or anything to take the hunger away. I was not exercising because there was just no time for myself and I had no time to concentrate on a traditional diet.”
 “Since I’ve been drinking Slim, I lost so much weight! I don’t overeat and I’m not obsessed about food anymore. I also feel like I have more energy overall. The very best part of using Slim is that I never feel like I’m dieting because I never feel like I’m starving like traditional diets,” Jenni said.
Jenni is planning to use some of her $10,000 to take her family to a special place. “We’re thinking about going to our wonderful family vacation in Orcas Island in Washington.
