Want to Beat Inflammation….
Want to Get Rid of Joint Pain and Swelling..CM Plex® Will Help!
Tens of millions of people suffer from joint problems and pain. Joint health is key to wellness. After all, it’s difficult to feel healthy when the very act of walking hurts! Keeping your joints strong, agile, and flexible is a priority for people wanting to live life to its fullest. When joints, which are made up of connective tissue, receive natural, effective support, the difference is amazing.
Now available as both a capsule and a cream, C.M. Plex™ supports joint health with a proprietary blend of cetyl myristate, cetyl myristoleate, and other cetyl esters. These compounds have been shown to help penetrate and hydrate the joints and increase mobility, encouraging a more active lifestyle.*
The cream and capsules work together synergistically.
The cream provides additional moisturizing benefits, while the capsules offer additional ingredients for internalized nutritional support. This is a highly non-greasy penetrating cream with a pleasant odor that is effective for pain relief on joints or muscles that may be sore because of arthritis or injury. It is also beneficial in reducing bruising from injury. It increases mobility of joints and muscles and reduces swelling. This product was also reported in the Journal of Rheumatology as has had double blind studies done showing it’s effectiveness.
This combination has been shown in double blind studies to reduce inflammation, pain and improve mobility in joints where rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis is present. The findings have been published in the Journal of Rheumatology with conclusive results of the benefits on these two conditions are present. Because of the anti-inflammatory action of this product other conditions that are inflammatory in natures will benefit. Inflammation occurs in the body as natural by-product of metabolic actions. When the body cannot detox the inflammation it builds up in all areas of the body and can cause degenerative diseases and pain. This product, it is important to note does not work effectively when the diet contains caffeine, sodas or high quantities of sugar. Sugar and Caffeine increase inflammation and swelling.
It has been shown to be effective in aiding people with conditions such as Fibromyalgia, gout, lupus, irritable bowel diseases and other inflammatory conditions such as injury or surgery.
Research Brief The word joint refers to any of the connections between the body’s more than 200 bones. Joints are classified into three categories according to structure and movability. Cartilaginous joints, in which cartilage joins the bones, can move slightly-for example, the joints connecting the vertebrae and pubic bones. Fibrous joints are immovable, such as the joints between skull segments. Most of the joints in the body are freely moving synovial joints, in which touching bone surfaces are covered by cartilage, connected with ligaments, and lined with synovial membrane. Synovial joints take several forms, including ball and socket, gliding, hinge, pivot, and saddle.
Millions of people lose joint mobility and flexibility at some point in their lives. These problems can prevent full participation in many of life’s daily activities. However, natural nutrients can deliver various benefits, including joint lubrication and smooth joint movement. Vitamin C is vital to the skin’s formation of healthy connective tissue in ligaments and bones. Several other natural supplements have captured significant attention recently as researchers and scientists attempt to find effective ingredients to support joint health.*
FAQs Q: Will C.M. Plex™ lose its effectiveness with continuous use? A: The bones and joints are active structures, constantly creating new tissue and breaking down old. A healthy, varied diet profoundly affects this ongoing process. As with any other component of our nutrition, C.M. Plex™ can assist the body at any and all adult stages in life.*
Q: Can C.M. Plex™ be used by pregnant women or nursing mothers?A: As with many other nutritional supplements, it is not recommended that a pregnant woman or nursing mother use C.M. Plex™.
Q: Has any human research been done on the ingredients contained in CM Plex™? A: Yes. In fact, a human clinical study, presented at a major scientific conference in April 2001, demonstrated remarkable effects.*
Q: What foods are sources of nutrients that support joint health? A: Foods high in vitamin C, such as several fruits and vegetables, are important because vitamin C is vital to the body’s development of connective tissue in ligaments, skin, bones, and blood vessels. The body cannot make its own vitamin C, so absorbing adequate amounts through diet and supplementation is crucial.*

Pain and Prescriptions- do you Really need Water?
The human body is 75% water, the human brain 85% Outside the use of antibiotics on bacterial infections chemical treatments are pallative and none seem curative.
- Hypertension is not generally cured it is treated during the lifetime of a person.
- Peptic Ulcer is not cured, one must have antacids nearby at all times
- Allergies are not cured, the person is depending on medications.
- Arthritis is not cured, it eventually cripples.
Once you feel thirst, you are already dehydrated. Peptic ulcers often respond to water alone. Extensive research has proven that the body has sophisticated thirst signals during regulation of it in times of dehydration. There are three basic stages to water regulation of the bod in the different phases of life. 1. The stage of life of a fetus in the uterus of the mother2.
The phase of growth until full height an width is achieved ( approx 18-25)3. From fully grown until death.
The first indicator of dehydration of a fetus is reflected as morning sickness in the fetus and the mother. A gradually declining thirst sensation occurs with age. With increase in age, if a person who does not drink sufficiently, the cells content of water decreases drastically. A decrease in water consumption affects cell efficiency. Because of this, chronic dehydration shows up as symptoms of disease.
Adding medications, is not the answer. Water is not only a solvent and means of transport. Water drives all of the chemical reactions which create life. The osmotic flow of water through membranes help neurotransmission in the body. Water also acts as an adhesive sticking solid structures in the cell membranes together.
What are Some of the Life Sustaining Properties of Water?
- Protein and enzymes are more efficient in less viscous solutions.
- As the body becomes more and more dehydrated in the interior of cells, the body is less accurate at recognizing thirst. This is a process of aging.
- Water, the solvent of the body, regulates all functions, including the activity of the solutes it dissolves and circulates. When the body becomes dehydrated, the body begins a drought management priority system. Histamine
-directed neurotransmitters become active that promote thirst signals. When chronic conditions such as allergies, asthma and chronic pain occur, one should be aware that the body is under an emergency water
-shortage crisis. Pain is an indicator that there are chemical changes around the nerves moitoring acid/alkali balance.
The warning mechanisms designed to protect the cells from excess acid buildup which could “burn” the cell membrane and inner cell structures. The pain sensation will accelerate if the cry for water is not heard. The body is trying to prevent additional production of toxic waste.

Arthritis and You
Arthritis is one of the most common medical problems and a major cause of disability in America. The word arthritis is a blend of the Greek words arthron, for joint, and itis, for inflammation. In other words, arthritis literally means, “joint inflammation.” Although arthritis is often referred to as one disease, it’s not. Arthritis has more than 100 forms.
Arthritis in America
- 66 million people have arthritis (nearly 1 in 3 adults)
- One of the most prevalent chronic health problems and the nations leading cause of disability among Americans over age 15.
- Second only to heart disease as a cause of work disability.
- Limits everyday activities such as walking, dressing and bathing for more than 7 million Americans.
- Results in 39 million physician visits and more than a half million hospitalizations.
- Costs to the U.S. economy total more than $86.2 billion annually.
- Affects people in all age groups including nearly 300,000 children.
- Baby boomers are now at prime risk. More than half those affected are under age 65.
- Half of those Americans with arthritis dont think anything can be done to help them.
- Refers to more than 100 different diseases that affect areas in or around joints.
- Strikes women more often than men.
Arthritis is one of the most common conditions causing joint pain and disability. Nearly 1 in 3 Americans have arthritis or a related condition. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of joint disease. It’s often called wear-and-tear arthritis because it involves the wearing away of the cartilage that caps the bones in your joints. Over time, if the cartilage wears down completely, you lose shock absorption capabilities and may be left with bone rubbing on bone. This may eventually damage the ends of your bones. Osteoarthritis can affect almost any joint in your body.
Rheumatoid arthritis isn’t associated with the overuse or injury of a joint. In rheumatoid arthritis, the synovial membrane that protects and lubricates joints becomes inflamed, causing pain and swelling. Rheumatoid arthritis can be more disabling than osteoarthritis, and it sometimes results in deformed joints. It can affect any joint, but wrists, knuckles and small joints of the feet are among the most common sites.

To Avoid Joint Pain You Should Protect and Maintain Your Joints
Practice these tips in order to avoid joint strain and injury
As we age, our bodies undergo wear and tear, and your joints are not an exception. Injury and disease can take its toll on your joints. Practicing good joint protection is important for everyone, but especially for those suffering from Arthritis.
Trauma, such as a bone fracture or injury to the ligaments, muscles, tendons around the joint or the cartilage within the joint, can lead to joint pain. Ligament sprains, if significant, can impair the stability of the joint and make it susceptible to further damage. Tears of the cartilage in the knee can cause a block to the range of motion of the knee, also called locking of the knee. And fractures or ligament injuries to joints can contribute to joint destruction and osteoarthritis years later. Knees are the joints most likely to be affected by trauma and injury.
Protecting your joints is one of the most effective ways to avoid or relieve pain and prevent further joint damage. And there are many ways to do it, from practicing joint protection techniques to using assistive devices.
To avoid unnecessary joint strain and subsequent pain, follow these steps:
- Each day move each joint through its full pain-free range of motion. This will maintain freedom of motion in your joints. Keep movements slow and gentle, because sudden jerking or bouncing can hurt your joints.
- Become educated on the difference between the pain associated with joint over use and arthritic discomfort. Be aware of the activity that caused your joint to become stressed and avoid repeating that movement. Think of ways that you can modify the action. Keep in mind that joints are more likely to become damaged when they are painful and swollen.
- Your fingers are used in almost all your day-to-day activities and stressful positions and techniques may increase the risk of developing deformities. You can perform most tasks in easier ways that put less deforming forces on your joints.
- How you carry your body really affects how much strain you put on your joints. Proper body mechanics allow you to use your body more efficiently and conserve energy.
- Dont give your joints a chance to become stiff- avoid keeping your joints in the same position for a prolonged period of time.
- Rest and activity throughout the day should be balanced. Manage your workload throughout the day, so you can avoid overworking your joints. Work at a steady, moderate pace and avoid rushing. Rest before you become fatigued or sore. Alternate light and moderate activities throughout the day. And take periodic stretch breaks.

Meet Shoe-Stir. He is a 9 year old Lasa cross Teddy-Bear, at least that’s what I have decided he is. When I purchased him I was told he was a Shitsu! At that time, I did not realize that there was health insurance. Without that, when pets get older and start needing special care, it becomes ugly.
Shoe-Stir developed a really bad limp, it got to the point that he could not eve n jump up. He was on medication, but it grew worse over time. One day my Vet said “Kathy, you must budget for Shoe-Stir” It was $3,500 for this and maybe $250 for that and on it went. He required a knee replacement OR a synthetic knee. Thoughts of the surgery he would face, the anesthetic, and the money were weighing on my mind.
Faced with this decision, I decided to put some natural supplements to work. I disposed of the medications and gave him Osteo Essentials, Megamins, CM Plex capsules and Calcium Magnesium in soft food. As he is a 25 lb dog. he did not need more than 1/3 of the regular human dose. After awhile, It got to be once in 3 days that he got the supplements.
To make a long story short. Shoe-Stir runs, jumps and enjoys life -even when it gets to be -40 degrees. He is not on any form of medication except the regular yearly requirements. Once in awhile, I give him his natural supplements if I notice him slipping back, but I am very happy to say that he did not have to face surgery, and I did not have to forfeit a fortune.
